Regional Perishable Operations Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.

📋 Description

• Report directly to the Senior Director of Perishables.

• Manage and drive operational excellence across a network of clubs.

• Maintain financial responsibility for the clubs under supervision.

• Implement merchandising priorities, displays, sales initiatives, marketing campaigns, and product flows.

• Uphold consistent standards in quality, ordering, training, and production.

• Identify opportunities for execution improvement and implement merchandising strategies for chain-wide consistency.

• Analyze data related to sales, profitability, merchandising effectiveness, and operational efficiency.

• Generate actionable insights, recognize trends, and address operational challenges.

• Develop the skills of Club Managers, Fresh Managers, and Meat Managers.

• Establish communication channels with teams in Perishables, CSC, Club Operations, and DC Operations.

• Align product selection and offerings with the merchandising segmentation strategy.

• Drive training programs, compliance, and succession planning for Fresh operations.

• Participate in new club openings and share perishable-area knowledge with club team members.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in retail merchandising, operations management, or a related field.

• Strong analytical abilities with proficiency in data analysis tools and technologies.

• Exceptional oral and written communication skills.

• Proficient in BJ's IS, Microsoft Word, and Excel.

• Previous experience in merchandising and operations of perishable goods is a plus.
