This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois, +6 more states.
β’ Acquire new district logos and achieve the annual new business target within a designated territory.
β’ Develop and sustain three times pipeline coverage to facilitate quarterly and yearly quota fulfillment.
β’ Promote the cross-sell of at least one new Riverside Insights product to existing customer districts annually.
β’ Collaborate with Renewal Account Managers in quarterly joint account planning for key districts.
β’ Implement a structured, stage-based sales approach with clearly defined exit criteria and precise CRM maintenance.
β’ Articulate product value and ROI in relation to district initiatives like MTSS, PBIS, SEL, early learning, and assessment modernization.
β’ Transition pilots and limited implementations into district-wide or multi-school adoption through Professional Learning and Customer Success.
β’ Achieve forecast accuracy within a margin of plus or minus 10% on a rolling quarterly basis.
β’ Work alongside Renewal Account Managers, Professional Learning, Customer Success, and Marketing to enhance long-term district results.
β’ Proven K-12 sales experience with a successful track record of acquiring net-new logos.
β’ History of consistently meeting quotas in both hunting and cross-selling roles.
β’ Expertise in managing complex, multi-stakeholder district sales cycles from prospecting to closing.
β’ Strong discipline in pipeline-building, KPI tracking, and forecasting, including maintaining three times pipeline coverage and precise CRM documentation.
β’ Consultative discovery and needs-analysis abilities, with a talent for aligning solutions with district instructional priorities.
β’ Excellent negotiation and closing skills, including managing multi-year agreements.
β’ Demonstrated persistence, urgency, and resilience in competitive environments.
β’ Capacity to work collaboratively across internal teams (Renewals, Professional Learning, Customer Success) with a district-first approach.
β’ Preferred working knowledge of K-12 instructional, assessment, and student wellness frameworks (MTSS, PBIS, SEL, early learning).
β’ Experience in selling assessment, SEL, or student wellness solutions to district leadership is preferred.
β’ Previous experience in converting pilots into district-wide adoption is preferred.
β’ Established relationships with district decision-makers in the assigned territory are preferred.
β’ Candidate must reside in IA, MN, WI, MI, OH, IN, IL, or MO.
β’ This is a remote position with 50β70% travel required for district visits, conferences, and presentations.
