Regional Offloads Operations Leader

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in China.

📋 Description

• Oversee regional operations of offload partners to ensure adherence to business commitments, customer needs, and operational standards.

• Act as the main regional operations liaison between GE Aerospace and designated offload partners.

• Promote consistent shop performance through performance evaluations, operational rhythms, and standardized practices.

• Track and evaluate SV data to align regional S&OP strategies with actual shop performance, output, and constraints.

• Detect operational deficiencies, emerging risks, and necessary recovery actions through performance assessments and partner collaboration.

• Facilitate regional operational meetings and provide insights into performance metrics, risks, action plans, and escalation requirements.

• Collaborate with offload providers during joint operational reviews concentrating on SQDIP, execution discipline, constraint management, and delivery efficiency.

• Address and resolve regional constraints with Materials, Quality, PSE, planning, and sourcing teams.

• Foster accountability and promote continuous improvement among regional offload partners.

• Implement FLIGHT DECK principles, lean practices, and best methodologies to enhance partner operational rhythms.

• Lead structured problem-solving initiatives to tackle recurring operational challenges and minimize variability.

• Assist in the standardization of operating mechanisms, metrics, and execution expectations throughout the offload network.

• Offer regional insights to the Global Offloads Operations Leader regarding partner health, capacity, risks, recovery strategies, and improvement priorities.

• Cultivate strong working relationships with partner leadership teams.

• Advocate for safety, quality, accountability, and continuous improvement across the regional offload network.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive experience in Manufacturing & Operations Management (for positions outside the USA).

• Educational qualifications equivalent to a Master's degree from an accredited institution, or a high school diploma with pertinent experience (for positions outside the USA).

• Master's degree from an accredited university or college, or a high school diploma/GED with a minimum of 6 years of experience in the relevant Job Family Group(s)/Function(s) (for positions in the USA).

• Excellent oral and written communication abilities.

• Strong interpersonal and leadership capabilities.

• Proficient in problem analysis and resolution.

• Capacity to lead programs and projects effectively.

• Competence in documenting, planning, marketing, and executing programs.

• Proven project management proficiency.
