This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.
• Take charge of the entire incident lifecycle for Holafly’s worldwide connectivity services, spanning from detection and impact evaluation to technical investigation, service restoration, customer recovery validation, and closure.
• Serve as the Incident Commander during significant network incidents.
• Collaborate with L1/L2 teams, MNOs, IMSI providers, IPX/GRX partners, and core-network vendors.
• Maintain clear technical ownership until the incident is resolved.
• Lead and nurture a team of 5–10 Network Operations engineers.
• Provide technical mentorship, escalation support, and performance management.
• Ensure the team is operationally ready at all times.
• Retain technical ownership of active roaming and core-network services.
• Independently analyze traces, logs, and network behavior.
• Drive Root Cause Analysis (RCA), Problem Management, and implement permanent corrective actions for major and recurring incidents.
• Challenge vendor responses when necessary and ensure that preventive enhancements are completed.
• Oversee network performance, monitoring, and operational advancements.
• Track Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) such as first-attach success, session-establishment success, latency, packet loss, throughput, availability, and Mean Time to Repair (MTTR).
• Ensure a seamless follow-the-sun handover between regional teams.
• Over 15 years of experience in Mobile Telecommunications.
• Significant exposure to Core Network, International Roaming, Packet Core, IMSI/SIM technologies, IPX/GRX, and mobile data services.
• Strong technical understanding of LTE/4G and 5G NSA/SA roaming architectures.
• Familiarity with Diameter/DRA/HSS, GTP-C/GTP-U, PGW/PCRF, APN/DNS, routing, and Local Breakout environments.
• Proven track record in leading major network incidents and technical troubleshooting.
• Capability to analyze signaling traces, PCAPs, logs, and network KPIs.
• Ability to manage incidents through restoration, RCA, and implement permanent corrective actions.
• Prior experience in people management, ideally supervising a Network Operations, NOC, Core Network, or Incident Management team of approximately 5–10 engineers.
• Strong understanding of IP networking and roaming connectivity, including BGP, TCP/IP, DNS, firewalls, NAT, IPX/GRX, and Diameter.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills in English.
• Ability to coordinate with global MNOs, IMSI providers, IPX/core vendors, and internal teams.
• Nice to have: Certifications in AWS, Cisco, or Project Management (PMP/Agile).
• Nice to have: Knowledge of eSIM orchestration and GSMA standards.
