This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Assist communities throughout the portfolio with Memory Care and Health Services initiatives.
• Collaborate closely with Traditions Directors and Executive Directors to uphold Memory Care benchmarks, policies, procedures, regulatory compliance, and Oakmont standards.
• Supervise resident care, activity programming, and staffing for Memory Care services, encompassing early memory loss and middle- to late-stage memory loss programs.
• Aid in the recruitment and onboarding of new Directors.
• Support new Traditions Directors in their communities until they achieve full operational capability.
• Facilitate retraining and coaching for Traditions Directors as assigned.
• Perform assigned Traditions Program Audits and ensure prompt follow-up is completed.
• Guarantee adherence to Oakmont Traditions policies and procedures in designated communities.
• Engage in the development of policies and procedures.
• Contribute to new community development and openings, including team hiring, training and development, program setup, VIP and Grand Opening participation, department setup, and related programming.
• Take part in establishing Oakmont Programming standards and policies.
• Provide support for additional projects focused on enhancing Traditions systems.
• Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
• Experience in Senior Living is required.
• A minimum of 2 years as a Traditions Director or equivalent experience in a related field.
• At least 2 years of experience working with individuals diagnosed with dementia.
• 1 year of experience in a management or leadership position.
• High school diploma or equivalent is mandatory.
• BA/S in gerontology, psychology, social work, or a related field, or 4 years of experience in social services, residential care, psychiatric facilities, or similar environments.
• Ability to speak at public events.
• Must meet the CA DDS minimum qualifications for a dementia trainer.
• Must have or be willing to obtain RCFE Administrator Certification.
• Successfully pass a DOJ Criminal Background Check.
• Must possess a clean driving record.
• Reliable transportation is required.
• Exceptional leadership and communication skills.
• Capable of adapting and responding positively to change, criticism, and high-pressure situations.
• Highly motivated and capable of working independently.
• Proficient in decision-making, task prioritization, and maintaining excellent time management.
• Knowledgeable about budgeting, programming costs, labor, scheduling, and HR/hiring practices.
• Experience in training, coaching, and mentoring.
• Strong organizational skills and event execution capabilities.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with all parties involved in assignments.
• Clear understanding and application of Oakmont Program Standards, procedures, and policies.
• Energetic, adaptable, and positive attitude; capable of managing diverse personalities.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and other online tools.
• Must provide proof of COVID-19 vaccination or a valid exemption due to qualifying medical reasons or religious beliefs, in accordance with legal stipulations.
• Willingness to travel up to 100% of the time within the portfolio.
