This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Provide support to communities throughout the Oakmont portfolio, with extensive travel and assignments that may require up to 100% travel within the portfolio.
• Collaborate closely with Traditions Directors and Executive Directors to uphold Memory Care standards, policies, and procedures.
• Assist in the administration of Memory Care and Health Services programs, ensuring regulatory compliance and adherence to Oakmont standards.
• Manage resident care, activity programming, and staffing for Memory Care services tailored to early, middle, and late-stage memory loss programs.
• Aid in the recruitment and onboarding process for new Directors.
• Partner with new Traditions Directors in their communities until they are fully operational.
• Help retrain and coach Traditions Directors as needed.
• Execute Traditions Program Audits and ensure timely follow-up.
• Guarantee adherence to Oakmont Traditions policies and procedures in designated communities.
• Engage in the development of policies and procedures.
• Support new community developments and openings, including team hiring, training, program setup, VIP participation, and department establishment.
• Contribute to the development of Oakmont Programming standards and policies.
• Participate in projects aimed at creating systems for Traditions.
• Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
• Experience in Senior Living is required.
• A minimum of 2 years' experience as a Traditions Director or in a comparable role in a similar field.
• At least 2 years of experience working with individuals with dementia.
• One year of experience in a management or leadership capacity.
• High school diploma or equivalent is necessary.
• A BA/S in gerontology, psychology, social work, or a related field, or 4 years of experience in social services, residential care, psychiatric facilities, or a similar setting.
• Proficiency in public speaking at events.
• Must meet California Department of Developmental Services minimum qualifications as a dementia trainer.
• Must possess or be willing to obtain RCFE Administrator Certification.
• Successful completion of a DOJ Criminal Background Check is required.
• A clean driving record is essential.
• Reliable transportation is necessary.
• Exceptional leadership and communication skills are required.
• Ability to positively adapt to change, criticism, and stressful situations.
• Highly motivated and capable of working independently.
• Proficient in decision-making, prioritizing tasks and projects, and maintaining excellent time management skills.
• Knowledge of budgeting, programming costs, labor, scheduling, and HR/hiring processes.
• Experience in training, coaching, and mentoring is essential.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to execute events effectively.
• Ability to work collaboratively with all individuals involved in each assignment.
• Clear understanding and application of Oakmont Programs Standards, procedures, and policies.
• Energetic, flexible, and positive attitude; capable of managing diverse personalities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and other online tools.
