This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

πŸ“‹ Description

β€’ Provide support to communities within the Oakmont portfolio, with extensive travel and assignments that may reach up to 100% within the portfolio.

β€’ Collaborate closely with Traditions Directors and Executive Directors to uphold Memory Care standards, policies, and procedures.

β€’ Support Memory Care and Health Services initiatives, ensuring compliance with regulations and adherence to Oakmont standards.

β€’ Manage resident care, activity programming, and staffing for Memory Care services catering to individuals with early, middle, and late-stage memory loss.

β€’ Assist in the recruitment and onboarding of new Directors.

β€’ Work alongside new Traditions Directors in their communities until they achieve full operational functionality.

β€’ Aid in the retraining and coaching of Traditions Directors as needed.

β€’ Conduct audits of the Traditions Program and ensure timely follow-up actions.

β€’ Ensure that Oakmont Traditions policies and procedures are consistently followed in assigned communities.

β€’ Engage in the development of policies and procedures.

β€’ Support the development and openings of new communities, including team hiring, training, program setup, participation in VIP and Grand Opening events, and department setup.

β€’ Take part in the formulation of Oakmont programming standards, policies, and Traditions systems projects.


⛳️ Requirements

β€’ Must reside in Northern California.

β€’ Experience in Senior Living is required.

β€’ Candidates must be at least eighteen (18) years old.

β€’ A minimum of 2 years as a Traditions Director or in a comparable role is necessary.

β€’ At least 2 years of experience working with individuals with dementia.

β€’ One year of experience in a management or leadership position is required.

β€’ A high school diploma or equivalent is mandatory.

β€’ A BA/S in gerontology, psychology, social work, or a related field, or 4 years of experience in social services, residential care, psychiatric facilities, or similar settings is required.

β€’ Ability to speak publicly at events is essential.

β€’ Must meet the CA DDS minimum qualifications to serve as a dementia trainer.

β€’ Must possess or be willing to obtain RCFE Administrator Certification.

β€’ Successfully pass a DOJ Criminal Background Check.

β€’ Must have a clean driving record.

β€’ Reliable transportation is required.

β€’ Exceptional leadership and communication skills are essential.

β€’ Ability to positively adapt and respond to change, criticism, and stressful situations.

β€’ Highly motivated and capable of working independently.

β€’ Strong decision-making abilities, task prioritization, and excellent time management skills are required.

β€’ Knowledge of budgeting, programming costs, labor management, scheduling, and HR/hiring processes is essential.

β€’ Experience in training, coaching, and mentoring is necessary.

β€’ Strong organizational skills and the ability to execute events effectively.

β€’ Ability to collaborate with all individuals involved in each assignment.

β€’ Familiarity with Oakmont Programs Standards, procedures, and policies is important.

β€’ An energetic, flexible, and positive demeanor is essential, with the capacity to manage diverse personalities.

β€’ Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and other online tools is required.

β€’ Proof of COVID-19 vaccination or a valid exemption due to qualifying medical reasons or religious beliefs, subject to legal requirements.
