This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Michigan, +2 more states.
• Oversee the State and Local segment of the Government business.
• Propel revenue growth, achieve sales quotas, and enhance retention metrics.
• Supervise Sales Executives and Client Executives.
• Lead a team dedicated to increasing client retention across various products.
• Formulate and execute a detailed client management strategy that aligns with the Government segment's objectives.
• Foster new customer acquisition, deepen customer relationships, and manage renewal sales within designated territories.
• Set and implement goals, KPIs, and performance metrics while providing constructive feedback and coaching.
• Recognize opportunities for process innovation and drive organizational change.
• Spearhead the adoption and implementation of AI-driven sales tools for enhanced customer insights, sales forecasting, pipeline management, and productivity.
• Offer coaching and development opportunities for the team.
• Collaborate with sales, product management, marketing, finance, and operations to devise effective go-to-market strategies.
• Monitor, analyze, and report on sales targets, renewal rates, and customer satisfaction metrics.
• Provide account management reports and updates to executive leadership.
• Continuously evaluate and enhance sales and client executive team processes.
• Assess, pilot, and scale AI technologies to refine sales operations and engage customers more effectively.
• Promote innovation and a culture of continuous improvement.
• Partner with internal teams to craft product marketing campaigns and develop the customer solution portfolio.
• Bachelor’s degree; experience in people management or relevant leadership roles.
• Proven track record in sales or account management within the Government sector.
• Extensive industry knowledge and experience in dynamic, high-growth, and matrixed environments.
• Outstanding communication, interpersonal, and collaborative skills, with the ability to influence across all organizational levels.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a history of data-driven decision-making.
• Results-oriented mindset with a demonstrated ability to meet targets.
• Self-motivated, with a robust work ethic and a passion for achieving business outcomes.
• Proven capability to lead change management initiatives and guide teams through organizational transitions.
• Experience with or strong aptitude for utilizing AI tools and technologies in sales contexts, including CRM AI features, predictive analytics, and generative AI applications.
• A master's degree or J.D. is preferred.
• Candidates should reside in or near the Minneapolis/Saint Paul, Ann Arbor, or Dallas markets.
