Regional Manager – Loss Control

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio, +4 more states.

📋 Description

• Conduct Loss Control Surveys for all client accounts within the designated Midwest and Eastern regions.

• Perform thorough survey evaluations and audits of commercial auto product line accounts, which include passenger transportation, trucking, and car rental operations.

• Respond to visit requests assigned within the region.

• Identify potential accounts that require visits and communicate with underwriters accordingly.

• Prepare detailed reports outlining visit and survey findings along with recommendations to enhance policyholder operations.

• Carry out follow-up assessments based on approved post-visit plans.

• Coordinate scheduling with policyholders, underwriters, and home office personnel.

• Address safety and compliance requirements within the assigned territory and collaborate with staff as needed.

• Build working relationships with underwriters across various product lines and the claims department.

• Submit reports and findings to the requesting underwriters and the total quality administrator.

• Keep updated on local transportation regulations, state DOT requirements, and relevant OSHA regulations.

• Engage in policyholder meetings and seminars at client locations, online, and during company or industry events.

• Write and edit safety articles as required.

• Manage email, web, and cell phone communications promptly and appropriately.

• Travel 75–80% of the time, primarily within OH, PA, DE, DC, MD, VA, and West Virginia.

• Perform additional duties as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficient in all standard Microsoft Office applications including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

• Skilled in using virtual meeting software.

• Comfortable with learning and using custom web reporting software and navigating the company website as a resource.

• Knowledgeable in Federal Motor Carrier (US DOT) regulations, preferably including those related to passenger transportation and their applicability.

• Excellent communication and organizational abilities.

• A minimum of five years of relevant experience in a safety or loss control-related role within the commercial auto industry.

• Must possess authorization to work for any employer in the U.S.

• Employer is unable to sponsor or take over work authorization sponsorship now or in the future.
