This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida, +2 more states.
• Lead and supervise a team of Community Solutions Development Executives focused on identifying new residential sales opportunities across various markets and states.
• Create, implement, and manage strategies aimed at the growth and expansion of Metronet services.
• Perform territory research and conduct competitive analyses.
• Assist in negotiations with developers, builders, city officials, and Homeowner Associations to secure plats, power plans, and Utility Access Agreements.
• Assess residential growth opportunities utilizing internal maps, Google Earth, GIS maps, and FCC Broadband intelligence.
• Collaborate with Leadership, Business Development, Construction Project Management, Outside Plant, Residential Sales, Finance, Marketing, and Legal teams.
• Oversee projects from concept to completion, including expansions, joint trench partnerships, and Utility Access Agreement initiatives.
• Develop rapid revenue-generating opportunities and respond to service inquiries and internally generated growth leads.
• Utilize CRM software to track team opportunities and performance metrics.
• Build and maintain relationships with pertinent local organizations.
• Participate in community, governmental, and economic development events and meetings as required.
• Achieve team monthly and quarterly budgeted quotas and drive residential market growth.
• Mentor and support direct reports, including creating professional development plans.
• Prepare and deliver monthly, quarterly, and annual regional performance reports.
• Execute additional responsibilities as assigned.
• Bachelor’s degree in business or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 3 years managing sales or business development teams.
• At least 5 years of experience in business development, sales, or marketing.
• Must reside in one of the Metronet markets within the designated region.
• Proficient understanding and experience with Access Laws, regulations, and FCC requirements, including Inside Wiring Rules.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications, such as Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Proven experience in working with and communicating with C-Suite executives.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills across all organizational levels, both internally and externally.
• Outstanding organizational and project management skills.
• Strategic planning and problem-solving capabilities.
• Detail-oriented with a commitment to confidentiality.
• Previous experience in operations, marketing, or the real estate industry is preferred.
• Willingness to travel as necessary.
