This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Provide direct oversight, guidance, and leadership to a team of Therapeutic Sales Specialists within a designated district.
• Formulate and execute business plans tailored for assigned districts.
• Support individual TSS employees in leveraging the next-generation operational methods and next-best-action engine.
• Implement strategies and directives for the Specialty Franchise.
• Collaborate with Commercial Operations to enhance field force alignment.
• Foster innovative customer engagement through both virtual and in-person selling techniques.
• Build and cultivate a high-performing, diverse team through effective recruitment, development, and retention practices.
• Ensure effective communication and execution of product strategies and messaging according to established plans.
• Utilize the Azurity Commercial Excellence (ACE) platform for CRM and analysis of customer engagement, sales force strategy, targeting, territory alignment, reporting, and incentive planning.
• Implement strategies aimed at improving sales routing and overall operational efficiency.
• Collaborate on training initiatives focused on product knowledge, selling skills, systems, processes, and maintaining reporting accuracy.
• Maximize business prospects and address customer requirements through cross-functional team collaboration.
• Work with HR on recruitment, employee development, and performance management strategies.
• Gather and evaluate internal and external data to inform business decisions.
• Report to the Sales Director and work in partnership with Commercial Leadership, Commercial Operations & Analytics, Marketing, Market Access & Strategic Accounts, Sales Training, Regulatory, Medical Affairs, Legal, Compliance, and Finance.
• BA or BS degree; an MBA or advanced degree is a plus.
• A minimum of 3 years of progressive experience in specialty pharmaceutical sales, including experience in field sales management and product launches as both a representative and a sales leader.
• Proficient in sales strategy and optimization for customer-facing organizations within multi-channel environments, with a strong record of success in pharmacy-related sales.
• Strong leadership, team-building, and organizational capabilities.
• Demonstrated ability to coach and develop sales professionals while coordinating functional business activities.
• Excellent strategic and analytical thinking skills.
• Experience with syndicated sales data across customer channels, longitudinal patient-level data, and payer-level data.
• Exceptional communication skills with the ability to influence and align stakeholders at all organizational levels.
• Effective collaboration and teamwork skills.
• Capacity to thrive in a fast-paced, results-driven environment while managing multiple product launches across various therapeutic areas.
• In-depth understanding of the pharmaceutical regulatory/legal landscape and compliance standards for interactions with healthcare professionals, including adherence to the PhRMA Code.
• Comprehensive knowledge of the Retail and Institutional Marketplace.
• Familiarity with CRM call reporting and dashboard systems.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, and Outlook.
• Willingness to travel approximately 75%, including overnight stays.
• Ability to sit for extended periods and frequently stand, walk, talk, and/or hear.
• Capability to occasionally ascend stairs and/or use elevators.
• Must be able to occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
• Proficient in using a keyboard, telephone, and handheld devices.
• Annual bonus based on company performance.
