Regional Maintenance Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida, +6 more states.

📋 Description

• Implement strategies across the network to identify gaps, initiate corrective measures, and restore performance to meet KPI targets.

• Assess site conditions, maintenance execution, and team capabilities, providing clear improvement plans with assigned responsibilities.

• Establish, instruct, and enforce standards for maintenance execution.

• Perform Health Check audits and Quality Assurance evaluations.

• Offer visibility to Fulfillment Center General Managers regarding maintenance performance.

• Provide mentorship and coaching to Senior Maintenance Managers, Maintenance Managers, and Area Maintenance Managers.

• Recognize leadership gaps and create personalized development plans.

• Educate on budgeting, workforce management, KPI analysis, and escalation procedures.

• Develop talent pipelines for site staffing.

• Standardize maintenance methodologies, enhance reliability, document procedures, and train teams accordingly.

• Formulate and execute reliability plans to boost facility uptime.

• Share expertise in Material Handling Equipment, Industrial Automation, and Robotics systems.

• Analyze operational metrics, identify trends, diagnose root causes, and promote continuous improvement.

• Provide guidance to senior leadership on equipment end-of-life decisions through ROI and analytical methods.

• Foster and uphold a safety culture across all sites.

• Ensure complete compliance with safety training and enforce safe working practices.

• Cultivate relationships with safety program managers.

• Develop connections with site Operations leaders, Regional Operations Managers, and Program Managers.

• Collaborate with JLL leaders and Finance regarding the stewardship of client funds.

• Meet or surpass KPI performance targets and present results during weekly business reviews and reports.

• Ensure compliance with labor and PRM budgets, including adherence to overtime policies.

• Report on budget variances and trends.

• Guarantee compliance with PO creation and invoice reconciliation.

• Engage with other RMMs to ensure consistent implementation and execution of JLL programs and tools.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree.

• Over 6 years of experience managing employees and performance, including salaried leaders.

• Prior experience in a regional or multi-site maintenance leadership role overseeing 80+ employees.

• Demonstrated history of leading change, accelerating team development, and enhancing performance across multiple sites.

• Functional understanding of Material Handling Equipment systems, maintenance best practices, and 24/7 logistics environments.

• Willingness to travel 70–80% of the time and deploy on short notice to various locations across North America.

• Strong skills in coaching, mentoring, and influencing others.

• Experience in reliability-centered maintenance, preventive/predictive strategies, and large-scale integrated systems.

• Proficient in data analysis and converting metrics into actionable coaching and site-level decisions.

• Familiarity with MS Excel, AutoCAD, MS Project, and CMMS platforms.

• Must have authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.

• Frequent bending, crouching, kneeling, reaching, standing, and walking required during site visits.

• Capability to lift parts and tools averaging 20 lbs, occasionally up to 49 lbs.
