This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +6 more states.
β’ Implement strategies across the network to identify gaps, initiate corrective measures, and restore performance to meet KPI targets.
β’ Assess site conditions, oversee maintenance execution, and evaluate team capabilities, providing clear improvement plans with accountability.
β’ Establish, instruct, and uphold maintenance execution standards.
β’ Perform Health Check audits and Quality Assurance assessments.
β’ Offer Fulfillment Center General Managers insights into maintenance practices.
β’ Mentor and guide Senior Maintenance Managers, Maintenance Managers, and Area Maintenance Managers.
β’ Exemplify leadership best practices alongside site teams.
β’ Recognize leadership gaps and develop personalized development plans.
β’ Instruct on budgeting, workforce management, KPI analysis, and escalation procedures.
β’ Create talent pipelines within the site.
β’ Standardize maintenance work methods, enhance reliability, document procedures, and provide team training.
β’ Design and execute reliability plans to boost facility uptime.
β’ Offer expertise in Material Handling Equipment, Industrial Automation, and Robotics systems.
β’ Evaluate operational data, identify root causes, and promote ongoing improvements.
β’ Counsel senior leadership on equipment end-of-life considerations employing ROI and analytical methods.
β’ Foster and strengthen a proactive safety culture.
β’ Ensure 100% compliance with safety training and enforce safe working practices.
β’ Conduct and support training drills throughout the network.
β’ Cultivate relationships with safety program managers.
β’ Establish connections with site Operations leaders, Regional Operations Managers, and Program Managers.
β’ Collaborate with JLL leaders and Finance to manage client funds effectively.
β’ Achieve or surpass KPI performance and report results during weekly business reviews and reporting.
β’ Ensure adherence to labor and PRM budgets, including overtime management and approval processes.
β’ Report on budget variances and trends.
β’ Maintain compliance regarding PO creation and invoice reconciliation.
β’ Network with other Regional Maintenance Managers to ensure consistent program execution and deployment.
β’ Bachelor's degree.
β’ Over 6 years of experience managing employees and performance, including salaried leaders.
β’ Previous experience in a regional or multi-site maintenance leadership role overseeing 80+ employees.
β’ Demonstrated success in leading change, enhancing team development, and driving performance across multiple sites.
β’ In-depth knowledge of Material Handling Equipment systems, maintenance best practices, and 24/7 logistics environments.
β’ Willingness to travel 70β80% and deploy on short notice to various sites across North America.
β’ Must have authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.
β’ Preferred to be currently based in the Western United States.
β’ Strong coaching, mentoring, and influencing skills are preferred.
β’ Experience with reliability-centered maintenance, preventive/predictive strategies, and large-scale integrated systems is preferred.
β’ Proficient in data analysis is preferred.
β’ Familiarity with Lean, Six Sigma, TOC, standardized work, and cost/benefit analysis is preferred.
β’ Working knowledge of MS Excel, AutoCAD, MS Project, and CMMS platforms is preferred.
β’ An MBA, Master's degree, or Six Sigma Black Belt is a plus.
β’ Professional engineering registration is a plus.
β’ Ability to frequently bend, crouch, kneel, reach, stand, and walk during site visits.
β’ Capability to lift parts and tools averaging 20 lbs, occasionally up to 49 lbs.
β’ Ability to work in confined spaces, and conditions involving dust, fumes, temperature extremes, noise, vibration, and uneven or wet surfaces.
