Regional Leasing Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee leasing, marketing, and training activities for a portfolio of student housing communities.

• Collaborate with Corporate Operations, Marketing, Community Managers, and staff to establish leasing objectives and create strategic marketing initiatives.

• Lead leasing teams to achieve successful leasing, marketing, and foster positive resident relations.

• Ensure the effectiveness and accuracy of leasing techniques, follow-up procedures, lease documentation, and reporting systems.

• Conduct audits of lease files and address resident complaints, concerns, and requests.

• Create resident retention programs, promotions, newsletters, and community events.

• Show properties, lease units, and facilitate the move-in process for prospective residents.

• Build and maintain relationships with business contacts and vendors.

• Mentor team members in leasing and marketing techniques while exemplifying customer service practices.

• Monitor company and regional performance, industry trends, resident satisfaction, social media presence, and online campaigns.

• Develop marketing communications and support the creation of annual marketing plans, budgets, campaigns, designs, and outreach efforts.

• Track leasing and renewal progress and oversee leasing and renewal events.

• Keep abreast of product offerings, competition, and market trends, completing weekly market survey reports.

• Assist in the recruitment, training, coaching, counseling, and supervision of on-site staff.

• Provide on-site and remote training, outreach training, follow-ups, social media branding training, and develop SharePoint training content.

• Travel approximately 75% annually for property visits, conferences, training, and other business-related activities.


⛳️ Requirements

• High School Diploma or its equivalent; a bachelor’s degree is preferred or one year of experience in the student housing sector.

• Capability to understand and execute all on-site software functions.

• Basic computer skills are necessary.

• Previous experience managing social media and digital marketing campaigns is strongly preferred.

• Creative design experience and proficiency in Canva or Adobe suites are strongly preferred.

• Fundamental understanding of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA regulations.

• This position requires travel estimated at 75% of annual work time.
