Regional Lead Recruiter

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois, +3 more states.

📋 Description

• Lead hiring initiatives across a designated region.

• Oversee staffing levels, vacant positions, hiring projections, and workforce strategies.

• Collaborate with operational leaders to tackle staffing obstacles.

• Formulate recruiting strategies for key and challenging roles.

• Assist in implementing recruiting initiatives and programs.

• Act as the main Talent Acquisition partner for regional leadership teams.

• Provide insights into the labor market and make hiring recommendations.

• Update stakeholders on recruiting progress, risks, and potential opportunities.

• Advocate for the use of Workday, Leena AI, and other AI technologies.

• Promote the adoption of automated workflows and AI-driven recruiting tools.

• Enhance recruiting efficiency, scalability, and consistency.

• Track recruiting KPIs and take corrective measures as needed.

• Present hiring updates and suggestions to regional leadership.

• Ensure adherence to federal, state, and local employment regulations.

• Support DOT and FMCSA hiring requirements when applicable.

• Maintain precise documentation and hiring records.

• Encourage fair, objective, and compliant hiring practices.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in Talent Acquisition.

• Proven track record of delivering results with urgency in high-volume recruiting settings.

• Strong knowledge of recruiting metrics and workforce planning.

• Familiarity with ATS platforms like Workday.

• Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills.

• Strong organizational and problem-solving capabilities.

• Preferred: Experience in transportation, logistics, healthcare, retail, manufacturing, or recruiting for a distributed workforce.

• Preferred: Background in recruiting CDL drivers, mechanics, technicians, or other frontline operational positions.

• Preferred: Experience in implementing improvements and automation in recruiting processes.

• Preferred: Familiarity with AI recruiting tools and workflow automation platforms.
