Regional Fleet Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Oversee all Regional Technicians within the specified region, providing indirect guidance to Fleet Managers and Damage Detection Experts for around 1,000 vehicles across 10 stations.

• Report directly to the Market Fleet Manager while being assigned to the Regional Operations Manager.

• Manage the budget for Maintenance, Repair, and Fleet Transfer.

• Ensure the implementation of cost-effective, high-quality repairs throughout the region.

• Establish repair strategies for each vehicle based on damage reports and operational priorities.

• Coordinate workshop capacity, scheduling, and the flow of spare parts to ensure vehicle availability.

• Develop and enhance the internal and external workshop network.

• Lead and nurture station fleet teams, which include technicians, fleet managers, and damage detection specialists.

• Monitor KPIs related to repair costs, repair duration, and damage detection accuracy.

• Propel strategic initiatives for ongoing improvement.

⛳️ Requirements

• A degree or apprenticeship in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Technology, or a related technical discipline.

• Over 5 years of experience in fleet management, maintenance, repair, or workshop management.

• At least 3 years of direct experience in people management, ideally in a technical and operational setting.

• Strong analytical and budgeting capabilities, with an emphasis on efficiency and quality.

• Confident leadership skills coupled with exceptional communication and stakeholder management abilities.

• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, multi-site environment.

• Willingness to travel to internal stations and external vendors within the region.

• Proficiency in both written and spoken German and English.

• Familiarity with maintenance or fleet management systems such as SAP or Oracle.
