This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Drive business growth at dealerships by providing training, monitoring production, and analyzing Finance and Insurance product sales.
• Develop and implement strategic sales plans aimed at enhancing dealer profitability.
• Offer guidance to Dealer Finance and Insurance teams on techniques to ensure compliance across all customer interactions.
• Establish action plans through collaborative group and individual training, production evaluations, and product improvement suggestions.
• Supervise monthly production metrics and counsel dealer principals, general managers, and finance directors on profit improvement strategies.
• Deliver ongoing support to dealership accounts by promoting and training on various products.
• Supply clients with comprehensive product information, warranty procedures, pricing details, and updates on new product offerings.
• Address and resolve client inquiries, complaints, disputes, and concerns while ensuring follow-up procedures are in place.
• Design and implement dealership-specific sales methodologies and financial incentive programs.
• Develop dealership protocols to enhance Finance and Insurance department profitability while ensuring legal compliance.
• Conduct monthly meetings with Executive Management to review accounts, suggest strategies, and report on challenges and corrective measures.
• Propose incentives for Finance and Insurance pay plans and establish sales objectives.
• Gather competitive intelligence by analyzing monthly reports and monitoring dealership performance.
• Negotiate and determine pricing for specific Walkaway products with new dealership clients.
• Facilitate monthly production meetings and training sessions.
• Communicate and oversee the product directives for each dealership.
• Uphold and enforce company sales policies and procedures while fostering long-term client relationships.
• Evaluate client needs and provide recommendations based on expertise in the Finance and Insurance industry and company products.
• Proven experience as a Finance & Insurance Manager or F&I Director in an automotive dealership (required).
• Documented success in enhancing F&I production, profitability, product penetration, and compliance metrics.
• In-depth knowledge of dealership operations, lender relations, menu selling, and regulatory compliance standards.
• Willingness to travel consistently and regularly within the state of California.
• Proficient in reading, analyzing, and interpreting business publications, professional journals, technical documents, and government regulations.
• Capable of writing reports, business correspondence, and procedural manuals.
• Able to present information effectively and respond to inquiries from managers, clients, customers, and the public.
• Competent in calculating discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.
• Proficient in applying basic algebra and geometry.
• Able to implement common-sense understanding to written, oral, or diagrammatic instructions.
• Skilled in addressing problems involving multiple concrete variables in standardized situations.
• Familiar with word processing, spreadsheet, internet, order processing, project management, database, and contract management software.
• Two to four years of related experience and/or training.
• Valid driver's license is required.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Proficient in sales techniques, customer relations, and customer service skills.
• Capable of technical communication.
• Possess math aptitude.
• Strong negotiation skills.
• Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
• Effective presentation skills.
• Ability to adhere to procedural manuals.
• Capable of regular driving and occasional lifting/moving of 15 to 20 pounds.
