
Regional Field Service Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio, +2 more states.
β’ Assist the team across Michigan, Ohio, Indiana, and Pennsylvania.
β’ Deliver outstanding service to a regional network of hospital accounts.
β’ Oversee Field Service Supervisors and Field Service Representatives.
β’ Collaborate with the Plant Manager and Delivery Route Drivers.
β’ Work alongside Sales and customers to evaluate service, staffing, and product requirements for both existing and new accounts.
β’ Lead the implementation of accounts, which includes installations, ward walks, product setup, Techsmart deployment, inventory management, and service scheduling.
β’ Educate hospital staff, Service Technicians, and stakeholders on products, programs, safety standards, and regulatory obligations.
β’ Foster customer relationships through audits, service-level monitoring, utilization-data assessments, and customer satisfaction initiatives.
β’ Oversee inventory, product ordering, labor planning, scheduling, payroll, and budget compliance.
β’ Recruit, train, mentor, evaluate, and manage Service Technicians.
β’ Carry out performance management, safety training, and coverage planning.
β’ Ensure compliant service delivery through quality audits, issue resolution, timely collections, continuous improvement, and effective cross-functional communication with Operations and Sales leadership.
β’ Travel across the Great Lakes Region approximately 50% of the time.
β’ Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
β’ At least 5 years of demonstrated leadership experience in a service-oriented industry.
β’ Experience in hospital services or a related field is highly preferred.
β’ Exceptional project management capabilities for intricate installations and meeting cost/time constraints.
β’ Knowledge of service-related financial drivers and KPIs.
β’ Proficient in managing budgets and profit/loss statements.
β’ Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail to maintain regulatory and client care records with 100% accuracy.
β’ Experience in hiring, training, and guiding direct reports is a definite advantage.
β’ Willingness and capability to travel 50β60% of the time.
β’ Ability to lift containers weighing up to 40 lbs.
β’ Capacity to push/pull wheeled transporters and/or palletized products weighing up to approximately 500 lbs.
β’ Ability to walk two or more miles daily.
β’ Ability to sit for extended durations.
β’ Ability to work in proximity to hospital personnel, sensitive medical equipment, and patients.
β’ Ability to occasionally work outdoors.
