Regional Facilities Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of regional facilities performance metrics, encompassing work orders, compliance with preventive maintenance, facility condition, asset health, and longevity.

• Act as the facilities execution leader for the region, translating corporate goals into actionable plans.

• Lead, mentor, and supervise Facilities Managers and maintenance teams at the site level.

• Establish standards and performance expectations for regional facilities.

• Conduct weekly KPI reviews and engage in monthly discussions regarding performance and development.

• Identify skill gaps and collaborate with Operations leadership and Human Resources to create corrective action plans.

• Design, implement, and uphold regional workflows, processes, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).

• Utilize BI tools, reporting, automation, trend analysis, and site engagement to ensure effective execution.

• Oversee the preventive maintenance strategy for HVAC systems, appliances, life-safety systems, and building infrastructure.

• Ensure proper asset tracking, documentation, and lifecycle planning.

• Collaborate with Asset Management and Capital teams on developing scopes, overseeing projects, and validating execution.

• Work alongside Operations leadership on budget planning, forecasting, spending oversight, and cost efficiency initiatives.

• Evaluate, approve, and manage vendors; review and assess bids.

• Supervise minor to mid-sized repairs and compliance-related tasks.

• Conduct thorough site visits, facility evaluations, leadership alignment assessments, and SWOT analyses.

• Collaborate with Operations leadership and represent Facilities in cross-functional and executive meetings.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must be eligible to work in the United States; visa sponsorship is not an option.

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in Facilities or Maintenance management or operations.

• Proven leadership experience managing teams, multi-site operations, and large-scale projects.

• Extensive knowledge of facilities, with preferred expertise in specific trades.

• At least 2 years of hands-on experience included within the 5+ years of management experience.

• Experience in budgeting, forecasting, and cost management.

• Familiarity with CMMS and performance analytics tools.

• Ability to traverse properties, including stairs and uneven terrain.

• Capability to access rooftops, mechanical rooms, and maintenance areas.

• Ability to lift and carry weights of up to 50 lbs or more.

• Willingness to work in outdoor, construction, and mechanical settings.
