Regional Facilities Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Kentucky, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Provide overall vision and leadership for the facilities team.

• Develop and implement strategic direction for regional operations and maintenance in alignment with client objectives.

• Ensure effective communication and relationships with clients regarding facilities management.

• Adhere to client and JLL safety protocols while creating training programs.

• Oversee operational elements of properties to safeguard, maintain, and enhance the value of client assets.

• Utilize data to identify trends and insights aimed at ongoing site-performance enhancement.

• Manage relationships with third-party contractors and vendors.

• Collaborate with the Contract Manager on bidding and contracts for maintenance and project services.

• Enhance operational practices by leveraging JLL tools, processes, relationships, and best practices.

• Lead or support site incident investigations to determine root causes.

• Build and maintain regional client relationships as the main liaison with client representatives.

• Foster a culture centered on safety and advocate for safe work practices, training, and recognition.

• Provide strategic vision and continuous improvement for facility staff.

• Implement and train teams on CMMS tools, processes, and systems.

• Conduct performance reviews and manage performance improvement plans in collaboration with HR.

• Create and maintain operating budgets, variance analyses, and forecasts.

• Pursue cost-saving initiatives and assist with strategic sourcing and financial reporting.

• Proven experience in managing through others.

• Experience in a healthcare setting is advantageous.

• Strong negotiation skills demonstrated in previous roles.

• Capability to plan and manage within budgetary and time limitations.

• A strategic thinker with a strong focus on implementation.

• Basic knowledge of commercial leases, contract documents, and standard accounting methods.

• Ability to multitask and work independently without direct supervision.

• Excellent prioritization and conflict resolution skills.

• Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal skills.

• Exceptional organizational skills with a collaborative management approach.
