Regional Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Assess project geotechnical and structural data, conducting evaluations to determine technical and commercial viability.

• Create cost-effective geotechnical solutions utilizing proprietary technologies, such as Rammed Aggregate Pier systems, for project teams.

• Facilitate collaboration among the GFC Design Center, Licensed Installer, and Client to maximize the efficiency, accuracy, and effectiveness of GFC services and systems.

• Build and nurture strategic partnerships with prominent engineering firms, Departments of Transportation (DOTs), and construction companies.

• Generate sales leads, oversee and monitor key projects, and provide project updates through monthly reports.

• Draft proposals and collaborate with estimators to deliver project bids for RAP opportunities.

• Execute engineering and bid strategies to secure business and develop proposals and solutions that align with regional revenue targets.

• Review, sign, and certify project design submissions and field reports, along with preparing project close-out documents.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in geotechnical or structural engineering.

• 1-3 years of experience in a customer-facing role, ideally within the construction or industrial services sector.

• Capability to swiftly assess both technical and commercial feasibility of opportunities to add value to project teams.

• Proven ability to develop and manage business opportunities that lead to successful engineering and sales strategies.

• Strong knowledge of soil mechanics and structural loading conditions.

• Excellent client-facing skills with a consultative approach and effective problem-solving abilities.

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering from an accredited institution.

• BS in Civil Engineering is required; MS in geotechnical engineering is preferred.

• PE (Professional Engineer) License is an advantage.
