Field Services Engineer III – Cardiovascular

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Hampshire, +2 more states.

📋 Description

• Act as the main technical liaison for Medtronic Cardiovascular clients as well as sales and clinical teams.

• Conduct technical assessments, installations, support, servicing, maintenance, and de-installation of cardiovascular systems at client locations.

• Offer technical support to physicians or technologists during clinical procedures.

• Execute installations, inspections, verifications, corrective maintenance, and preventive maintenance on CV consoles and systems.

• Keep and submit technical records and documentation in accordance with regulatory standards.

• Share field insights and database updates with office colleagues.

• Enhance field service processes and create and maintain service documentation and procedures.

• Contribute feedback to Engineering and Manufacturing regarding upgrades to cardiovascular products.

• Create and present technical training sessions for distributors, partners, agents, and technically proficient customer representatives.

• Assist with new product launches and participate in design improvement discussions.

• Research, analyze, and identify trends in technical data related to cardiovascular products.

• Engage in special projects assigned by the U.S. Field Service Manager or their representative.

• Deliver technical training to physicians, EP technicians, and department managers at customer locations.

⛳️ Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.

• A minimum of 4 years of experience in technical, clinical field service, or clinical customer support.

• Must live within a 60-minute commute of Boston Logan International Airport (BOS).

• A valid driver's license and an active vehicle insurance policy are required.

• Driving history will be evaluated as part of the application process.

• Must be prepared to drive approximately 75% of the time within the designated territory.

• Must have unrestricted U.S. work authorization at the time of hire and throughout employment.

• Ability to apply principles of electrical, mechanical, thermodynamic, and biomedical engineering to troubleshooting tasks.

• Capability to troubleshoot and technically assess medical equipment.

• Exceptional English writing and verbal communication skills.

• Experience in teaching technical subjects.

• Strong time management skills and attention to detail.

• Willingness to travel frequently.

• Ability to work independently without direct supervision.

• Extensive face-to-face interaction and contact with customers.
