This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Thailand.
• Oversee Dairy Queen's network of authorized distributors to guarantee a consistent, competitive, and reliable supply of approved products, ingredients, and packaging for franchisees.
• Propel profitable growth across various product categories within the designated region.
• Act as the primary supply chain leader for franchisees, operators, distributors, and internal stakeholders.
• Offer strategic direction, operational assistance, and resolution for complex distribution and supply chain issues.
• Cultivate distributor relationships, drive accountability, and enhance service, product availability, cost-effectiveness, and system performance.
• Manage distributor performance, programs, and planning for the assigned U.S. region.
• Enhance distributor fill rates, perfect orders, on-time delivery, approved-product distribution, and SKU rationalization.
• Identify opportunities for supply chain savings and growth.
• Conduct annual distribution reviews and maintain relationships with distribution center account executives and senior staff.
• Communicate the supply chain strategy and programs to franchisees and ADQ operations.
• Develop implementation plans for new product launches and Limited Time Offers.
• Evaluate warehouse operations, inventory management, product quality, and service levels.
• Suggest policy and procedure modifications and create corrective action plans.
• Assist Quality Assurance with the enforcement of the distribution quality assurance program and policies.
• Utilize and create advanced reporting solutions from Arrowstream and other systems.
• Collaborate with the assigned Franchisee Support Analyst.
• Build cross-functional relationships and strategies to fulfill company objectives.
• Oversee contract renewals and RFPs.
• Maintain non-disclosure agreements.
• Analyze inventory movement, proprietary items, inventory turns, and lead times.
• Review and manage expedited freight costs.
• Identify risks and create plans to mitigate inventory losses or write-offs.
• Develop and communicate product planning obligations to ensure distributor accountability.
• Monitor and provide weekly audit reports of unauthorized products.
• Collaborate with Product Development and FSQR to approve and monitor costs for distributor-branded items.
• Enhance distributor performance through regular metric evaluations and continuous improvement.
• Manage the introduction of new products and LTOs, along with inventory and service levels.
• Participate in the planning and execution of the annual Supply Chain Summit.
• Assist credit managers with the collection of distributor accounts receivable.
• Advise Purchasing Managers regarding warehouse and product situations.
• B.A. or B.S. Degree in business or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.
• A minimum of 4–6 years of experience, knowledge, and/or familiarity with supply chain and/or store operations.
• Preferred experience in foodservice distribution.
• Strong knowledge and understanding of the Foodservice Industry and Supply Chain Management.
• Willingness to travel to distributors and their markets for an average of 15 days per quarter.
• Capability to drive a vehicle for operator and distributor visits.
• Ability to remain seated in a vehicle for up to 8 hours per day.
• Strong collaborative skills in a team environment.
• Proven leadership abilities and cross-functional liaison skills.
• Demonstrated capacity to propose and implement process improvements.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize various projects and requests within set deadlines.
• Proficient in problem identification, information gathering, and providing realistic solutions.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail and accuracy.
