This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.
• Take ownership of regional revenue goals, pipeline development, forecasting accuracy, and comprehensive sales execution.
• Guide, mentor, and cultivate a team of enterprise Account Executives.
• Foster a culture centered on accountability, customer focus, robust qualification processes, and consistent performance.
• Collaborate with Sales Engineering, Customer Success, Product, Marketing, and Sales leadership to enhance win rates and improve customer outcomes.
• Lead territory planning, account strategies, opportunity assessments, mutual action planning, forecasting, and expansion initiatives.
• Maintain involvement in strategic opportunities, including executive alignment, deal strategy, negotiation, and closing processes.
• Provide coaching to the team on selling to both technical and executive audiences.
• Review the pipeline, identify risks at an early stage, and ensure clear next steps for priority opportunities.
• Generate market demand, understand buyer personas, competitive dynamics, and customer pain points across the region.
• Enhance LangChain’s enterprise sales approach as the organization grows.
• Recruit, onboard, and retain top-tier sales talent.
• Over 7 years of experience in enterprise software sales.
• More than 2 years of experience leading quota-carrying sales teams.
• Demonstrated success in managing teams that sell complex technical products to enterprise clients.
• Proven ability to hire, coach, and nurture high-performing Account Executives.
• Strong skills in qualification, discovery, value selling, mutual action plans, forecasting, negotiation, and engaging with executives.
• Experience in selling to engineering, infrastructure, data, AI/ML, developer platforms, or product teams.
• Capability to thrive in a fast-paced, early-stage, or high-growth environment.
• Strong collaboration skills across Product, Engineering, Marketing, Sales Engineering, and Customer Success teams.
• Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to distill complex technical concepts.
• High sense of ownership, low ego, and a readiness to engage hands-on with customers, deals, and team development.
• Nice to have: experience with developer tools, infrastructure software, observability, data platforms, ML/AI tooling, or open-source commercial products.
• Nice to have: familiarity with LLMs, AI agents, RAG, observability, evaluations, or modern AI application development.
• Nice to have: experience in scaling regional sales functions.
• Nice to have: knowledge of MEDDIC, MEDDPICC, Command of the Message, or similar methodologies.
• Nice to have: proven success in selling to digital-native and large enterprise accounts.
