This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Achieve or surpass a defined operational plan.
• Direct, develop, and implement the commercial strategy for the sales of stability solutions for data centers across North America, which includes BESS, EMS, and Medium Voltage UPS.
• Precisely forecast orders and convertible orders using Salesforce.com.
• Manage daily customer relationships and offer transactional support.
• Execute joint account strategies and secure synergy orders in collaboration with GE Vernova sales personnel.
• Carry out a comprehensive regional growth strategy incorporating integrated GE initiatives.
• Cultivate strategic customer relationships with power developers, data center developers, independent power producers, and co-locators.
• Identify, pursue, and create new sales prospects.
• Assist customers in their sales endeavors and uncover new opportunities.
• Formulate individual sales strategies and secure approvals for pricing and delivery.
• Negotiate contracts effectively.
• Stay informed about market trends, competitive activities, product demands, and the customer base.
• Collaborate with Marketing to develop project-specific sales strategies.
• Offer feedback to leadership to facilitate ongoing growth.
• Manage expenses while adhering to budgetary constraints.
• Oversee, maintain, and expand regional accounts; create and track growth plans, marketing initiatives, and training.
• Meet quarterly and annual sales targets.
• Follow up on GE-provided leads and convert them into orders.
• Uphold global compliance standards and conduct due diligence with the compliance manager.
• Deliver market insights, competitive intelligence, and hit-rate data to business and sales leadership.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field from an accredited institution.
• At least 10 years of experience in Sales, Commercial Operations, Engineering, or Technical Engineering.
• Knowledge of Data Center Markets and Portfolios.
• Capability and willingness to hold and maintain a valid driver's license and a satisfactory driving record.
• Willingness to travel throughout North America approximately 50% of the time.
• Proven sales success in Battery Storage, Data Centre Power Management, or hybrids.
• Familiarity with Gas Turbines, Battery Storage, Grid Connection, and Islanded Grids/Hybrids industry customers and their operational processes.
• Demonstrated sales leadership experience in high-value, high-price system sales to senior executives.
• Comprehensive knowledge of battery storage applications across product lines and markets.
• Proficient in building relationships at all organizational levels.
• Established executive-level contacts at one or more accounts in the region.
• Comfortable and experienced with cold calling targeted new customers.
