This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Oversee the team's efforts to market and sell strategic, intricate multi-year hardware, software, consulting, services, and financing projects in the South Central Region.
• Develop a substantial sales pipeline, ideally aiming for four times the assigned targets.
• Create and present precise weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual sales forecasts.
• Guide the team in applying Optiv’s Force Management and MEDDICC sales methodologies alongside performance management.
• Align client engagement strategies with Optiv’s mission, values, culture, and value proposition.
• Establish and nurture relationships with Optiv’s Core and Select technology partners.
• Implement marketing campaigns for both Optiv and vendor partners.
• Collaborate with Services, Client Operations, Human Resources, and Executive Leadership to enhance revenue growth and client satisfaction.
• Identify, refine, and utilize best sales practices alongside peer Regional Directors across North America.
• Recruit, manage, mentor, and develop sales professionals.
• Accelerate revenue growth while cultivating strategic relationships within the regional client base.
• Forge executive relationships that position Optiv as the leading provider of security solutions.
• Articulate Optiv’s value proposition concerning security services and technology expertise.
• Lead cross-functional teams composed of sales, technical, and support personnel.
• Candidates must be based in Texas, with a strong preference for those located in the Houston or Dallas-Fort Worth areas.
• 5–10 years of demonstrated experience in managing sales teams focused on security technology and services.
• Proven history of achieving multi-million-dollar gross-margin quotas.
• Experience in developing sales professionals and overseeing performance management.
• Strong business acumen linking business objectives to cybersecurity risks.
• Executive presence and capability to establish executive relationships.
• Proficient in developing and executing territory and strategic account management plans.
• Proven ability to build productive relationships with key executives and sponsors within designated accounts.
• Ability to lead cross-functional dotted-line teams of sales, technical, and support personnel.
• Excellent negotiation, presentation, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Experience in constructing and selling complex, multi-year hardware, software, services, and financing solutions within Fortune 1000 accounts.
• Familiarity with IT infrastructure, risk and compliance markets, and competitors.
