Workday Platform Owner – Integration, Reporting, Security

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Take charge of the delivery and support of technical solutions within Campbell’s Corporate Solutions Technology team.

• Define, design, implement, and maintain integrations to and from Workday, focusing particularly on payroll and total rewards.

• Serve as the intermediary between the Corporate Solutions Functional team, business stakeholders, offshore technical teams, and external vendors.

• Plan and estimate the effort required for new and updated integrations.

• Act as a vital internal technical resource on various technical projects.

• Oversee and prioritize daily technical enhancements and service requests.

• Function as a point of escalation for higher-priority technical support issues.

• Build relationships with stakeholders, understand business requirements, and deliver effective solutions.

• Gather technical specifications, align solution design, and communicate requirements for offshore development teams.

• Document designs and testing procedures while maintaining system maps and integration architecture.

• Manage both waterfall and agile project plans, along with dependencies, resources, and estimations.

• Assist external vendors and outsourced support teams with the design, development, and testing of technical solutions.

• Conduct root cause analyses and implement enhancements to minimize incidents, support efforts, and ticket volumes.

• Maintain the integration inventory and design map for integrations.

• Develop integration standards and choose suitable technologies.

• Prioritize work for onshore and offshore teams concerning development, enhancements, maintenance, and support.

• Monitor integration performance and ensure that integrations operate smoothly.

• Provide subject matter expertise on Workday reporting, covering data sources, objects, and complex calculated fields.

• Troubleshoot and provide guidance on Workday security, including Integration System Users.

• Track Workday releases and patches, identifying any downstream impacts.

• Optimize, automate, and streamline solution designs.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s Degree is required.

• A minimum of 6 years of relevant experience.

• At least 5 years of experience configuring inbound and outbound Workday HCM integrations, including APIs.

• Specialization in implementing various types of Workday integrations.

• Proficiency in using the Workday Studio Integration Designer Toolset.

• At least 5 years of technical support experience for integrations with external third parties, such as payroll and benefits providers.

• Proven skills in SQL, XML/XSLT, Web Services (SOAP, REST), and middleware solutions like BizTalk and Fusion.

• Expertise in developing custom reports and calculated fields in Workday.

• Experience in project implementation and support.

• Workday Security and Payroll Configuration experience is preferred.

• Familiarity with Acquisitions and Divestitures is preferred.

• Must be available to work East Coast hours.

• Willingness to travel up to 10% of the time.

• Capable of handling highly confidential matters and materials with discretion and professionalism.

• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and in a collaborative team environment.

• Strong capability to collaborate across the organization while managing competing and shifting priorities.
