This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee cybersecurity and compliance initiatives for clients in healthcare, professional services, and other regulated sectors.
• Perform cybersecurity and compliance evaluations.
• Assess and document the security postures of clients.
• Identify and evaluate cybersecurity risks along with security vulnerabilities.
• Formulate and suggest remediation strategies.
• Assist in the creation and implementation of security policies and procedures.
• Draft professional reports on cybersecurity and compliance assessments.
• Conduct security awareness and phishing training sessions.
• Support virtual Chief Information Security Officer (vCISO) engagements.
• Provide strategic advice on cybersecurity, risk management, compliance, and best practices in security.
• Aid clients with assessments, remediation actions, and continuous security projects.
• Lead client meetings and discussions related to security.
• Clarify relevant compliance obligations and requirements.
• Offer clear and actionable guidance on cybersecurity and compliance matters.
• Simplify complex security and compliance requirements into practical, business-oriented recommendations.
• Assist organizations in enhancing their cybersecurity frameworks while adhering to applicable regulations and industry standards.
• Perform other related tasks as assigned.
• Proficient in English (both written and spoken).
• Capable of effective communication with executives, IT staff, compliance officers, and end-users.
• Strong technical expertise in cybersecurity.
• Comprehensive understanding of HIPAA, NIST, and SOC 2 standards.
• Experience in supporting clients within healthcare, professional services, and other regulated sectors.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities with the capacity to work independently.
• High attention to detail and multitasking abilities in dynamic work environments.
• Outstanding organizational skills with the capability to manage daily operations.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Familiar with standard business tools (email, spreadsheets, document management).
• Quick learner of new systems, software, and workflows.
• Ability to accurately follow established processes with minimal supervision.
• Available to work during U.S. EST (New York) business hours and adaptable to business needs.
• Must be able to pass a background check.
• Must have a reliable Windows 10+ computer, dual monitors, and high-speed internet connection.
