Senior Security Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Design and implement security measures across cloud, production, and corporate infrastructures.

• Create tools and systems aimed at enhancing security posture and operational efficiency.

• Perform security architecture and design evaluations for various systems and applications.

• Develop automation solutions to identify, monitor, and address security concerns.

• Collaborate across infrastructure, application, and operational security domains.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficient programming skills in one or more general-purpose languages such as Python, Go, or Rust.

• Experience with infrastructure as code languages (e.g., Terraform, AWS CDK) in a production environment.

• Background in conducting security architecture or design assessments for custom business applications.

• Strong understanding of contemporary attack vectors and defensive countermeasures.

• Familiarity with cloud platforms and deploying applications via CI/CD pipelines.

• Experience in developing and implementing protective controls for endpoint and SaaS applications.

• Capability to work independently, take charge of projects, and collaborate across teams.

• Involvement in or support for incident response activities.

• Eligible to acquire and maintain a U.S. TS clearance.

• Preferred: Experience in creating customized solutions in fast-paced and complex environments.

• Preferred: Familiarity with log aggregation, secrets management, or endpoint security tools.

• Preferred: Knowledge of AWS, Azure, or GCP security ecosystems and their associated tools.

• Preferred: Significant experience with Linux operating systems.
