Regional Demand Planner

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Spain.

📋 Description

• Create demand forecasts across various levels of aggregation.

• Examine and communicate historical sales patterns, investigate demand influencers, and compile forecast data along with monthly demand reviews.

• Assess when to utilize statistical models versus when human input is necessary.

• Generate forecasts for new items.

• Collaborate with sales, supply chain, and product management teams to comprehend the drivers behind demand forecasts.

• Employ a team-oriented approach to guarantee that current and precise information is utilized for demand forecasting.

• Lead monthly regional Demand Reviews and participate in essential S&OP meetings.

• Develop, sustain, and assess metrics, dashboards, reports, and KPIs to ensure accuracy and optimal outcomes.

• Extract and integrate data from various sources using Microsoft Excel, Power BI, SAP, and IBP.

• Utilize Business Intelligence tools for on-demand analysis and reporting.

• Analyze data to support decision-making initiatives.

• Document assumptions made and clarify their effects on the demand plan.

• Investigate, implement, and promote continuous enhancement in demand planning processes through collaboration with local SCM and Global DP and IBP Lead.

• Partner with sales and global supply chain teams to establish robust demand projections for Europe.

• Report to a global manager while functioning with considerable independence.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Demand Planning, Supply Chain, or an equivalent combination of education, experience, and training.

• Professional experience as an Analyst in Sales, Business, or Operations analysis within manufacturing or distribution.

• Proficient in SAP/IBP, Excel, and the Microsoft Office Suite software.

• Strong expertise in forecasting methodologies.

• Ability to engage and present to stakeholders effectively.

• Solid understanding of Business Analytics and Reporting principles.

• Excellent analytical abilities and a proven track record in data collection, research, and problem identification.

• Strong logical reasoning skills complemented by a common-sense approach and sound judgment.

• Capability to use data visualizations such as charts and graphs to narrate the story and align key stakeholders from entry-level to C-suite.

• APICS Certification is advantageous.
