This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Oversee the comprehensive execution of intricate energy infrastructure and construction initiatives.
• Deliver overarching project leadership, governance, and accountability for safety, scope, timeline, budget, quality, and client satisfaction across public, institutional, industrial, governmental, and commercial sectors.
• Direct project development and execution in collaboration with Engineering, Construction, and Operations leadership.
• Manage and oversee critical relationships with subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers to ensure competitive pricing, optimal scheduling, and delivery for all project-related equipment, supply installations, and construction services.
• Supervise vendors and subcontractors to guarantee quality control and timely project completion within budget constraints.
• Provide continuous project status updates to all stakeholders throughout the design and construction phases.
• Assess technologies and equipment; recommend the most appropriate solutions for each application.
• Lead the implementation of site safety and health plans, quality assurance, quality control, and the operations and maintenance start-up processes.
• At least 10 years of experience in civil infrastructure, electrical (medium/high voltage), mechanical/turbine/generators, engineering, or industrial power construction project management.
• Experience in managing data center projects.
• USACE Construction Quality Management (CQM) and OSHA certification is an advantage.
• Capability to pass thorough background checks and drug screenings prior to employment.
• Proven experience in delivering projects valued at $50M to over $1B is preferred.
• Previous experience in leading and managing construction teams and resources on highly complex, multi-site projects.
• Completion or active progress toward a degree in engineering, project management, or a related field is preferred.
• Progressive experience in construction project management involving direct digital energy control systems, variable frequency drives, high-efficiency motors, central plant chiller and boiler installations, lighting retrofits, renewable energy technology, warranty, and service requirements.
• Established experience in enforcing OSHA safety standards, civil site work, mechanical and electrical systems development, and compliance with engineering and project management regulations, practices, and codes.
• Demonstrated ability to effectively handle multiple project deliverables and cultivate positive business relationships.
• Excellent verbal, written, computer, technical communication, and presentation skills.
• Proficient with computer applications including MS Word, Excel, Project, AutoCAD, and Procore.
• Valid driver’s license in good standing, issued by the state of residence.
