This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida, +1 more state.
• Develop and engage in a Regional team of Commodity Managers.
• Create, execute, and evaluate Regional Business Plans and commodity strategies.
• Establish Regional Commodity infrastructure to support Jabil’s business and growth initiatives.
• Formulate, oversee, and implement Regional Commodity Strategies.
• Enhance the supply base and carry out contract negotiations.
• Promote Jabil’s Supply Chain Management expertise both internally and externally.
• Define, develop, and execute supply chain models.
• Analyze market dynamics and deploy supply chain strategies to ensure competitive supply and pricing.
• Optimize purchasing leverage for the most favorable total cost of ownership.
• Influence both existing and potential new customers.
• Cultivate relationships with Business Unit Management concerning new business opportunities.
• Foster continuous improvement through trend analysis, reporting, and metrics management.
• Establish measurement frameworks and adopt best-in-class practices and processes.
• Manage sourcing, supplier management, costs, quality, and risk mitigation strategies for Ultra-Large Form Factor Metal Enclosures.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, ethics, safety, health, quality, and security procedures.
• Facilitate effective knowledge and information sharing across Jabil.
• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business, or a related field is preferred.
• 5-10 years of relevant experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Proficient in MS Office Suite, particularly advanced Excel (pivot tables, formulas).
• Experience delivering PowerPoint presentations to suppliers.
• Ability to interpret technical 2D/3D drawings.
• Preferred experience in structural metal fabrication.
• Strong technical knowledge of metal fabrication processes.
• Capability to manage suppliers for large-scale, precision enclosure assemblies.
• Familiarity with sourcing, supplier management, cost, quality, and risk mitigation strategies.
• Experience in contract negotiations.
