This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Assist in middle revenue cycle operations encompassing client management, medical coding processes, quality compliance, and enhancements to workflows.

• Oversee goals, objectives, strategic initiatives, and policies and procedures for regional hospital clients.

• Ensure compliance with service level agreements by evaluating team performance, productivity, and quality benchmarks.

• Offer continuous guidance, coaching, and support to the coding team.

• Perform daily and weekly reviews of coding performance to achieve key performance indicators (KPIs).

• Identify and communicate obstacles and defects to clients and leadership.

• Resolve moderate to complex issues related to coding workflow.

• Lead project initiatives for resolving issues and escalate critical performance barriers as necessary.

• Work in conjunction with the quality review team to tackle coding quality challenges.

• Implement strategies for improvement and ensure team compliance with established performance standards.

⛳️ Requirements

• High school diploma, GED, or an equivalent qualification.

• Current coding certification from AHIMA or AAPC: RHIA, RHIT, CCS, or CPC.

• Experience in medical coding within a healthcare environment, including familiarity with charge capture strategies, pricing models, payer contracts, and patient accounting solutions.

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel for reporting and data analysis purposes.

• Leadership experience in a healthcare revenue cycle management role, including conducting team meetings, providing ongoing coaching and feedback, and performing annual performance evaluations.

• Experience in healthcare revenue cycle management.

• Valid coding certification.

• Ability to work in a position based in the United States.
