This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.
• Deliver regional clinical sales assistance for Vascade and EnsoETM within the vascular closure and esophageal cooling sectors.
• Facilitate the adoption of future products introduced through acquisitions or portfolio enhancements.
• Provide case coverage in situations where territory coverage is not available across the designated region.
• Promote procedural success, enhance customer confidence, and improve patient outcomes.
• Mentor and act as a clinical resource for Clinical Specialists throughout the region.
• Assist in the training and onboarding process for new hires.
• Support Account Managers by covering cases and ensuring favorable clinical outcomes.
• Aid in regional product launches and assist busier teams as needed.
• Participate in clinical trials both regionally and nationally as required.
• Offer troubleshooting, in-service education, and clinical support for company offerings.
• Engage customers in discussions regarding procedural and technical aspects of products, therapies, and technological advancements.
• Connect clinical data to key messaging effectively.
• Identify the clinical needs, objectives, and constraints of customers and offer solutions utilizing company products.
• Relay account information to the sales team on a daily basis.
• Share insights on competitive products and accounts with team members.
• Educate customers on the appropriate clinical applications and advantages of company products.
• Act as the regional expert for Interventional Technology procedures and lead training and simulations.
• Present clinical findings and the company's value proposition while adhering to regulations and internal policies.
• Build and sustain relationships with decision-makers, customers, and personnel.
• Review, lead, and create content for regional and area clinical calls involving complex cases.
• Assist in the creation and distribution of educational materials for internal teams.
• Support the handling of the most intricate cases that require advanced clinical expertise.
• Monitor inventory levels for products.
• Operate autonomously without direct reports while providing senior clinical mentorship and subject-matter expertise.
• BA/BS or equivalent medical training is mandatory.
• Typically requires 2+ years of direct healthcare experience in Cath lab, Interventional Radiology, Electrophysiology, or similar environments.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in the medical device industry.
• Strong clinical background and expertise in interventional cardiology, electrophysiology, interventional radiology, vascular, or cardiac surgery is preferred.
• HAE experience is preferred.
• Relevant registrations or certifications such as RT, RCIS, Surgical Tech, RN, NP, or First Assistant are highly preferred.
• Expert-level knowledge of the company’s interventional product range, clinical indications, and competitive landscape is required.
• Comprehensive understanding of how clinical support impacts regional business goals.
• Exceptional verbal, written, interpersonal, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently in the field with minimal oversight.
• Capacity to influence clinicians, nurses, and lab technicians.
• Ability to communicate persuasively and customize the Vascular Closure Value Proposition.
• Strong analytical skills and financial insight.
• Capability to manage sensitive and confidential information.
• Attention to detail in maintaining records and processing reports.
• Extensive knowledge of the medical device market, products, and regional customer base.
• Previous experience in the industry, ideally in the cardiovascular sector, targeting Interventional Cardiologists, Vascular Surgeons, Interventional Radiologists, administrators, and clinical staff.
• Proficiency in MS Office systems.
• Willingness to travel regularly domestically, covering 50–70% in the region and other areas as necessary.
• Sales incentive (commission) based on applicable plan terms.
