This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Provide clinical and strategic assistance to the Clinical Affairs Organization, emphasizing business-unit technologies and therapeutic areas.
• Accelerate clinical trial processes and enhance patient enrollment to impact study timelines and technology approval schedules.
• Build relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs).
• Oversee the launch of new clinical sites.
• Identify potential clinical research partners and formulate strategic partnership plans within the region.
• Serve as the primary liaison for clinical trial sites.
• Propel patient enrollment and ensure that study milestones are achieved.
• Enhance KOL involvement across study committees, publications, and conference presentations.
• Manage relationships with multicultural, multi-national customers and collaborate with internal cross-functional teams.
• Work alongside commercial leadership and other business units.
• Oversee new site launches and lead internal and investigator debrief meetings.
• Identify and develop new clinical research sites for upcoming clinical trials and early feasibility studies.
• Manage priorities, scheduling, forecasting, and strategic planning for the territory.
• Lead clinical projects as a vital member of core teams.
• Facilitate knowledge transfer between clinical and commercial teams to support business-unit objectives and new product launches.
• Maintain technical support and troubleshooting expertise for clinical research procedures utilizing Abbott technologies.
• Participate in presentations, advisory boards, and special projects.
• Mentor and assist FCS staff, with the potential for direct-report management.
• Bachelor’s Degree in engineering, biological sciences, or a related discipline, or equivalent experience in cardiology or clinical research.
• A minimum of 9 years of progressively responsible relevant clinical experience in the cardiovascular sector.
• Nationally recognized as a leader or expert in the field.
• Willingness to travel up to 50%, including potential international travel.
• Experience in engaging with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) and managing clinical research sites.
• Exceptional communication and collaboration abilities.
• Capability to navigate challenging discussions with multi-country, multi-cultural physicians and cross-functional partners.
• Strong project management capabilities.
• Proficiency in managing multiple priorities within a designated territory.
• Demonstrated leadership potential and experience in mentoring or managing personnel.
