This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Lead, manage, and motivate a high-performing regional team of Key Account Managers.
• Formulate and execute business strategies to meet sales objectives.
• Recruit, train, and retain talented individuals.
• Offer coaching, mentoring, and opportunities for professional growth.
• Empower the team to deliver value to clients through relationship building and science-based solutions.
• Ensure Key Account Managers effectively communicate marketing strategies and align with brand objectives.
• Cultivate partnerships with healthcare providers, healthcare systems, and institutions.
• Collaborate with medical, marketing, government affairs, and other cross-functional teams.
• Provide field insights that inform brand strategies and tactical implementation.
• Ensure all activities adhere to internal compliance and regulatory standards.
• Report directly to the National Sales Director for Specialty Care.
• Oversee activities across British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba, and western Ontario.
• Bachelor’s degree in business, life sciences, or a relevant combination of education, training, and pharmaceutical sales experience.
• At least 4 years of pharmaceutical or healthcare sales experience, with a minimum of 2 years in a leadership role.
• Minimum of 2 years of recent Canadian experience in Cardiology, Endocrinology, or Nephrology.
• A minimum of 2 years in a sales leadership position.
• Over 2 years of marketing experience as a brand manager or leader.
• Experience in cross-functional collaboration with medical, government affairs, or strategic roles.
• Strong analytical abilities and capacity for data-driven decision-making.
• Excellent communication, coaching, and leadership capabilities.
• In-depth knowledge of Canadian pharmaceutical compliance and regulatory frameworks.
• Valid driver’s license and a clean driving history.
• Willingness to travel extensively within the territory and participate in national/regional meetings.
• Preferred: Master’s degree or MBA.
• Preferred: Direct sales and leadership experience in Vaccines and/or Specialty pharmaceuticals.
• Preferred: Comprehensive understanding of Canadian healthcare systems and institutional stakeholders.
• Preferred: Strong presentation, negotiation, and analytical skills.
• Provision of a company-leased vehicle, subject to safe driver program criteria.
