This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Lead, manage, and motivate a high-performing regional team of Key Account Managers.
• Formulate and execute business strategies to meet sales objectives.
• Utilize analytics and business insight to guide data-informed decisions.
• Recruit, train, and maintain talent within the team.
• Offer coaching, mentoring, and opportunities for professional growth for KAMs.
• Equip the team to provide science-based solutions and value to customers.
• Ensure KAMs effectively communicate marketing strategies and align with brand objectives.
• Foster partnerships with healthcare providers, healthcare systems, and institutions.
• Collaborate with medical, marketing, government affairs, and other cross-functional teams.
• Share field insights to inform brand strategies and tactical execution.
• Guarantee adherence to internal and regulatory standards.
• Bachelor’s degree in business, life sciences, or a relevant combination of education, training, and pharmaceutical sales experience.
• At least 4 years of experience in pharmaceutical or healthcare sales, including a minimum of 2 years in a leadership role.
• A minimum of 2 years of recent experience in Canada focused on Cardiology, Endocrinology, or Nephrology.
• A minimum of 2 years in a sales leadership position.
• Over 2 years of marketing experience as a brand manager or in a leadership role.
• Experience collaborating cross-functionally with medical, government affairs, or strategic roles.
• Strong analytical abilities and a capacity for making data-driven decisions.
• Excellent communication, coaching, and leadership abilities.
• Comprehensive knowledge of Canadian pharmaceutical compliance and regulatory frameworks.
• A valid driver’s license and a clean driving record are required for company vehicle eligibility.
• Willingness to travel extensively across the territory and participate in national/regional meetings.
• A Master’s degree or MBA is preferred.
• Direct sales and leadership experience in the Vaccines and/or Specialty pharmaceutical markets is preferred.
• A deep understanding of Canadian healthcare systems and institutional stakeholders is preferred.
• Strong skills in presentation, negotiation, and analytics are preferred.
