This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Lead and manage project teams within a specified Field Services area.
• Serve as an extension of the Area Manager to execute Field Services organizational policies and strategies.
• Take ownership of safety performance in the designated service area.
• Conduct quality, safety, and human-performance observations in the field.
• Mentor and guide field service supervisors and personnel.
• Oversee scheduling for projects in the designated region.
• Work alongside the training team to deliver internal and external training programs.
• Partner with Project Management to ensure projects remain within budget.
• Serve as a liaison with client management to ensure satisfaction with executed work.
• Represent the Area Manager in weekly Level 10 meetings as required.
• Build and maintain effective client relationships.
• Assist in or create estimates and respond to bids for assigned regions or clients.
• Collaborate with recruitment efforts and make hiring decisions for the designated region.
• Allocate projects to field service personnel.
• Organize and lead regular team meetings to communicate issues, organizational updates, and resolutions throughout the assigned region.
• Undertake other region-specific responsibilities and assignments.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in Protection and Control Testing and Commissioning in a field role.
• At least 5 years of management experience within the energy sector.
• Preferred experience in substation commissioning; SCADA/Fault Data/SER/Integration-Automation equipment installation and testing; Project Management; Power Systems; Power Generation; or Utility Management.
• Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills demonstrated.
• Proven success in field supervision and leadership to direct employees towards successful project execution.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal capabilities to manage employee relations and change management initiatives.
• Solid technical knowledge of protection and control fundamental concepts and/or electrical apparatus and testing practices for electric utilities and power systems.
