This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Washington.
• Act as a representative for Flow International Corporation along with its products and services to both new and existing clients.
• Oversee national accounts, select equipment manufacturers, dealers, agents, and various channel partners.
• Cultivate and sustain long-term business relationships.
• Recognize growth opportunities and provide value-based solutions that align with customer requirements.
• Secure orders in accordance with the strategy established by the Vice President of Sales.
• Foster customer relationships and manage expectations throughout system purchases, aftermarket services, support, installation transitions, and escalation processes.
• Supervise channel partner selling initiatives.
• Relay information regarding customers, market trends, competition, applications, sales support, and product performance.
• Identify and manage regional accounts and channel partners.
• Conduct formal sales presentations, management briefings, training sessions, and presentations to professional organizations such as SME and SAE.
• Regularly visit existing clients to update them on relevant new technologies.
• Report customer issues and achievements to the home office and drive enhancements.
• Submit weekly expenses, sales forecasts, call reports, itineraries, lost-order reports, and customer support reports.
• Provide education and training for regional sales representatives and channel partners.
• Empower channel partners to handle relevant segments of the sales process.
• May supervise technical or application sales personnel upon completion of training.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical preferred), Sales/Marketing, Business, or a comparable combination of education and experience.
• Training and proven experience in value-selling techniques.
• Familiarity with Flow products/services and competitive market offerings.
• At least five (5) years of capital equipment sales experience.
• A minimum of two (2) years of experience in a sales management role.
• Proficient in MS Office suite applications.
• High level of analytical capability for intricate problems.
• Ability to convert complex technical concepts into messages tailored to specific audiences.
• Strong business and technical insight.
• Customer empathy and the ability to leverage customer value, including ROI and TCO.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Capacity to work independently while involving the organization as required.
• Strong interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with others and integrate input.
• Willingness to travel frequently, occasionally for extended periods.
• Capability to talk or hear; occasionally stand, walk, sit, reach, and lift/move up to 10 pounds.
• Specific vision abilities, including close, distance, color, peripheral, and depth perception, along with the ability to adjust focus.
