Regional Business Manager – Digital PCR, Next-Generation Sequencing

📋 Description

• Propel sustainable revenue growth and enhance market share of the dPCR and NGS portfolio through effective management of distributors and channel partners across France, Italy, and Iberia, focusing on direct customer engagement and strategic account development.

• Formulate and implement regional business and growth strategies, pinpointing priority markets, customer segments, accounts, applications, and opportunities for expanding the portfolio.

• Discover and capitalize on new business opportunities within the research, biopharma, clinical, public health, and emerging genomics sectors.

• Oversee sales performance, forecasting, pipeline assessments, and commercial growth strategies to meet regional revenue targets.

• Establish and nurture relationships with key customers, decision-makers, opinion leaders, and strategic accounts.

• Collaborate with Marketing, Product Management, Applications, R&D, and Commercial teams to facilitate product launches, generate demand, and drive market expansion initiatives.

• Track market trends, customer requirements, and competitive advancements while providing actionable business insights and recommendations to global stakeholders.


⛳️ Requirements

• A Master's degree or higher in Molecular Biology, Genetics, Biotechnology, Life Sciences, Biochemistry, or a related scientific field.

• Several years of experience in business development, sales, channel management, or commercial operations within the life sciences, genomics, molecular diagnostics, or biotechnology sectors.

• A proven history of direct customer-facing sales and business development across various European markets, ideally including France, Italy, Spain, and/or Portugal.

• In-depth knowledge of PCR and/or NGS technologies and applications; familiarity with digital PCR solutions is highly desirable.

• Demonstrated success in forming strategic partnerships, driving commercial growth, and handling complex sales opportunities.

• Exceptional analytical, communication, presentation, and stakeholder management abilities, with the capacity to engage both scientific and business audiences.

• Proficiency in English and fluency in at least one of the Southern European languages (French, Italian, Spanish, or Portuguese); additional language skills are a significant advantage.

• Willingness to travel extensively within the designated region, up to 50%, based on business requirements.
