
Regional Business Manager – Construction Sales

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +2 more states.
• Lead sales initiatives at all levels within the designated territory.
• Implement sales tactics both independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Identify new accounts, foster relationships, and promote the Autocar value proposition to secure new business.
• Focus on the “Top 20” companies, fleets, and contractors.
• Achieve profitable growth and enhance market share.
• Cultivate and maintain relationships with significant Construction-sector accounts and major fleet clients.
• Act as the primary liaison for regional fleet clients.
• Formulate strategies customized for Construction fleet clients.
• Meet or exceed sales goals through direct engagement with end users.
• Recognize new business opportunities and market segments through data analysis.
• Assist the sales team in developing compelling sales presentations.
• Collaborate with fleet managers and stakeholders to evaluate operational needs.
• Provide solutions that align with customer needs and Autocar truck specifications.
• Stay updated on industry developments and competitor offerings.
• Communicate customer insights to internal product engineering teams.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create tailored vocational-application solutions.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in outside sales within the Heavy Truck, Construction, or related industries.
• Demonstrated success in selling premium, high-value Construction products and/or services.
• Direct experience in successful Business-to-Business Heavy Truck OEM/Dealer Territory Sales is preferred.
• Territory sales experience in other Construction and Service Sectors will be considered.
• Extensive knowledge of trucks with the capability to consult and promote preference for Autocar.
• Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage personal call schedules and daily planning.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Proficient in relationship building both externally and internally across a diverse range of personas.
• Competent in Microsoft Office, PowerPoint, and CRM tools.
• Willingness to travel extensively.
• Strong work ethic, ambition to succeed, and a commitment to achieving results.
• Quick learner who requires minimal supervision and possesses effective problem-solving skills.
• Exceptional oral and written communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
• Must reside within a reasonable distance of a commercial airport.
• Ability to cover regions including California, Florida, Texas, or the Midwest.
