This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Massachusetts.
• Prepare for the upcoming launch of tirabrutinib targeting relapsed or refractory primary central nervous system lymphoma.
• Lead and develop a regional sales team to ensure readiness for the launch.
• Formulate and implement regional business plans that align with the overall organizational strategy.
• Assess market dynamics, customer segments, and overall business performance.
• Identify customer requirements and align organizational resources to meet those needs.
• Provide strategic insights regarding commercial planning, tools, resources, and field execution.
• Create assessments of business performance based on data and provide recommendations.
• Guide team execution to accomplish or surpass business objectives.
• Ensure the effective utilization of CRM systems and other relevant tools.
• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure a compliant customer experience.
• Optimize territory alignment, customer targeting, and field operations.
• Complete all necessary administrative and compliance tasks.
• Mentor, develop, and manage the performance of the sales team.
• Set performance expectations and implement focused development plans.
• Attract, cultivate, and retain top talent.
• Collaborate with Market Access, Marketing, Medical, Commercial Operations, and Training teams.
• Share insights and best practices among teams.
• Foster a culture of integrity, accountability, collaboration, and patient focus.
• Ensure adherence to company policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Manage regional budgets and oversee operational activities.
• Bachelor’s degree in business, life sciences, or a related field.
• Over 12 years of experience in the pharmaceutical or biotechnology sector.
• At least 3 years of direct sales experience in malignant hematology.
• Minimum of 5 years in sales leadership roles within malignant hematology or oncology.
• Proven experience in recruiting, organizing, developing, and retaining a cohesive, high-performing sales team.
• A successful track record of achieving results in competitive and complex environments.
• Proficiency in data analysis, deriving insights, and informing business strategies.
• Experience working collaboratively with cross-functional partners.
• Strong communication skills, leadership presence, and interpersonal abilities.
• Preference for candidates with oncology or specialty pharmaceutical experience.
• Experience in rare diseases and/or complex, access-driven markets is preferred.
• An advanced degree (e.g., MBA, MPH, PharmD, PhD) is preferred.
