Regional Asset Protection Specialist – Multi-State

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Oklahoma, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Carry out investigations and research utilizing corporate reports and exception-based reporting.

• Create professional and detailed cases along with research packages that uncover fraud or misreporting.

• Finalize cases while ensuring proper recoveries, documentation, and follow-up actions.

• Execute tasks that support the Asset Protection Department’s Four Pillar Strategy: Revenue and Profit Assurance, Shortage Control, Incident-Investigation Management, and the Safety Program.

• Provide advice, training, and guidance to field operators on shortage control, theft prevention, and asset protection.

• Build and maintain relationships with local law enforcement and act as a representative of 7-Eleven to local municipalities.

• Aid law enforcement and 7-Eleven’s third-party insurance administrator in gathering evidence and statements.

• Offer immediate support and consultation to field operations following critical incidents of crime or disaster.

⛳️ Requirements

• Associate's Degree or equivalent experience is required.

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in retail operations and multi-unit management is essential.

• A solid understanding of retail Accounting and Financial Management is necessary.

• Experience in analytics and reporting management is required.

• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills are a must.

• Capability to train and communicate effectively, whether one-on-one or to a larger audience.

• Ability to quickly learn and excel using an exception-Based Reporting Tool.

• Proficiency in conducting professional investigative interviews is essential.

• Willingness to travel 60–70% within the assigned coverage area.
