This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Establish, develop, oversee, and optimize the Asset Protection function for ALO sanctuaries across designated districts in the Central United States.

• Evaluate inventory shrinkage and formulate strategies to combat theft, fraud, and operational discrepancies.

• Propel shrink-reduction objectives and relay Asset Protection initiatives to field leadership and store personnel.

• Analyze high-shrink and high-risk sanctuaries and devise measurable action plans.

• Perform assessments of risk, site vulnerabilities, and physical security.

• Compile periodic Asset Protection summaries and KPI trend analyses.

• Utilize exception-based reporting, POS data, inventory reports, RFID, CCTV, case management systems, and AI-driven tools.

• Detect, investigate, and address theft, fraud, organized retail crime, cash loss, merchandise loss, and integrity issues.

• Conduct interviews and generate investigative reports, findings, and recommendations.

• Oversee physical security systems, training, third-party security vendors, and security resources.

• Assist with the opening of new sanctuaries by conducting security assessments, ensuring system readiness, and providing training.

• Address incidents such as workplace violence, threats, vandalism, robbery, burglary, and other emergencies.

• Coordinate responses with Retail Operations, People & Culture, Legal, law enforcement, emergency services, and security providers.

• Mentor and train store teams on Asset Protection, theft prevention, operational controls, fraud prevention, workplace safety, and incident reporting.

• Cultivate partnerships with district managers, store leaders, and cross-functional teams throughout Central DFW.

• Foster integrity, accountability, safety, and responsible technology usage.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and professional experience in retail Asset Protection, loss prevention, investigations, law enforcement, private security, risk management, or a related field.

• At least five years of experience in multi-unit, field-based Asset Protection or loss prevention.

• A minimum of two years in a supervisory or leadership role supporting multiple locations.

• Proven experience in conducting internal and external theft, fraud, and integrity investigations.

• Strong analytical skills with a background in translating reports and data into actionable loss-reduction and risk-mitigation strategies.

• Demonstrated curiosity and expertise in utilizing AI-enabled technology to improve analysis, investigations, productivity, and strategic decision-making.

• Ability to critically assess AI-generated information and apply sound professional judgment.

• Exceptional written, verbal, interviewing, presentation, and interpersonal communication abilities.

• Capability to establish relationships at all organizational levels and with external partners.

• Proficient in prioritizing competing tasks and working independently in a dynamic environment.

• Competence in managing sensitive and challenging situations with discretion, objectivity, and diplomacy.

• Proficiency in Asset Protection applications, CCTV platforms, POS reporting, RFID, case management tools, Shopify, and Microsoft Office applications including Excel, Word, Teams, Outlook, OneNote, and PowerPoint.

• Familiarity with relevant Canadian privacy, surveillance, security, employment, and workplace safety regulations is a plus.

• Ability to communicate effectively and collaborate with company personnel, third-party security providers, and law enforcement partners.

• Strong willingness and capability to learn new technologies, skills, methodologies, and industry best practices.

• Ability to respond to store emergencies and maintain a high level of accessibility.

• Willingness to travel extensively throughout Central DFW, including overnight and weekend travel, up to approximately 80% of the time.

• Flexibility to adapt schedule based on business needs, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
