
Regional Admission Program Coordinator

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Oversee a regional recruitment area and operate from a home office
• Create and implement recruitment strategies while contributing to enrollment initiatives
• Travel within the assigned recruitment area up to 30%
• Maintain ongoing communication with high schools, parents, and counselors
• Act as a liaison for the Office of Admission, faculty, academic departments, and University stakeholders
• Provide guidance to student applicants on admission, financial aid, career planning, and housing options
• Clarify and promote information about FAFSA and financial aid packages
• Identify, recruit, and enroll potential students in a specified market
• Plan and coordinate all aspects of travel
• Engage with students and parents through office-based communication via text, email, and phone
• Assist with administrative tasks supporting the student recruitment process
• Review, interpret, and assess academic credentials to make admission or denial decisions
• Support scholarship allocation
• Participate in recruitment team activities, special programs, and research projects
• Draft routine correspondence, compile report data, maintain calendars, process applications, schedule meetings, manage confidential records, prepare reports, and utilize information system software for data input and retrieval
• Perform additional tasks as assigned
• Bachelor’s Degree
• Two years of relevant work experience
• Prior experience using a CRM system
• Familiarity with higher education admission policies and programs
• Understanding of enrollment planning strategies
• Strong interpersonal and human relations abilities
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Effective presentation capabilities
• Strong planning and organizational skills
• Basic research proficiency
• Ability to show self-direction and motivation
• Competency in operating a personal computer with various software applications
• Ability to maintain confidentiality
• Capability to learn and implement institutional policies and procedures
• Ability to manage schedules effectively
• Capacity to work well in a team environment
• Willingness to travel/drive and work during weekends and evenings
• Ability to manage stress associated with travel
• Proficiency in multitasking and handling competing priorities
• Ability to build relationships and recruit a diverse student population across all regions of the United States
• Experience with Slate is preferred
