Regional Accounting Specialist – EMEA

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Oversee regional audits and compliance obligations for the Dutch and DACH entities.

• Collaborate effectively with various teams to achieve results, ensuring timely month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closings.

• Prepare consolidated financial statements in accordance with multiple accounting frameworks.

• Guarantee adherence to various international reporting standards.

• Conduct technical accounting research and oversee its implementation.

• Spearhead the implementation of global policies at the regional level.

• Mentor and develop members of the accounting team.

• Create and uphold reporting procedures and controls.

• Engage with stakeholders to address and resolve complex accounting challenges.

• Execute other ad hoc tasks as identified by the center of excellence management team.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance is required.

• An MBA is preferred.

• Experience in accounting within Dutch and DACH entities is necessary.

• ACCA or an equivalent professional certification is required.

• Proven leadership and people management experience are essential.

• International accounting experience and familiarity with multi-entity operations are needed.
