
Regional Accountant – Part-Time

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines, +2 more countries.
• Oversee complete bookkeeping responsibilities for three entities based in Singapore using QuickBooks Online.
• Execute journal entries, classify transactions, and finalize monthly reconciliations for bank accounts, balance sheets, and general ledgers.
• Conduct quarterly conversions from SGD to USD based on approved exchange rates.
• Detect and address or escalate any discrepancies, unexpected balances, and issues related to data quality.
• Assess monthly financial reports generated by the accounting partner in Vietnam.
• Ensure data integrity and align financial data with the internal Chart of Accounts.
• Perform VND to USD currency translations and upload organized data into QuickBooks Online.
• Compile financial information and create documentation for Singapore's statutory requirements, including corporate tax returns, ACRA annual submissions, and FATCA obligations.
• Assist with the annual audit by preparing schedules, retrieving reports from QuickBooks Online, completing reconciliations, and organizing necessary documentation.
• Maintain comprehensive, clear, and audit-ready financial records.
• Prepare and review quarterly financial data for investment vehicles in Singapore.
• Aid the Financial Lead with accounting analysis, reporting, and additional finance-related tasks.
• Manage recurring deliverables independently and communicate any issues proactively.
• A bachelor's degree or higher in Accounting, Finance, or a similar discipline.
• Minimum of five (5) years of progressive experience in accounting or bookkeeping.
• Proficient hands-on experience with QuickBooks Online.
• Advanced skills in Excel, including the use of lookups, conditional formulas, multi-tab data mapping, and reconciliations.
• Strong practical knowledge of IFRS and/or GAAP accounting standards.
• Excellent written communication skills in English.
• Ability to manage recurring deadlines independently while producing accurate work without constant supervision.
• Comfort in utilizing digital workflow and collaboration tools in a fully remote working environment.
• Highly organized, methodical, and detail-oriented, with strong problem-solving capabilities.
• Preferred: experience working with multiple legal entities or international organizations.
• Preferred: familiarity with Singapore's accounting, statutory reporting, or audit requirements.
• Preferred: experience in reviewing and mapping financial data from external accounting firms.
• Preferred: knowledge of foreign currency translation and group-level reporting.
• Preferred: proficiency in Mandarin.
