Regional Account Manager – Northwest Territory

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona.

📋 Description

• Create and implement territory strategies that align with regional sales growth and company goals.

• Establish and nurture relationships with distributors, fleets, installers, and key end-users.

• Spot opportunities to boost sales, enhance market presence, and deepen customer engagement.

• Conduct visits to distributors, lead sales meetings, and facilitate product training sessions.

• Assist with distributor open houses, customer events, trade shows, and various industry-related activities.

• Enhance distributor knowledge of products, sales effectiveness, and customer support skills.

• Work alongside the Sales Manager to develop annual business plans and sales strategies.

• Stay informed about Tommy Gate products, their applications, and industry developments.

• Provide insights on market trends, customer feedback, and competitive analysis.

• Keep accurate records of customers, opportunities, and sales activities in the CRM system.

• Oversee travel, expense reporting, and other administrative tasks.

• Engage in company meetings, training sessions, and initiatives for continuous improvement.

• Carry out other assigned duties and responsibilities.


⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is preferred; or a comparable mix of education and relevant experience.

• Previous experience in outside sales or account management is essential.

• Experience with distributor networks, commercial vehicle equipment, manufacturing, transportation, or similar industries is preferred.

• Proficiency in computer skills is required: Order Processing Systems, MS 365 Office suite (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word), and CRM Software.

• Strong skills in relationship-building and account management.

• Demonstrated ability to influence decision-makers and foster business growth through distributor channels.

• Excellent verbal, written, and presentation communication skills.

• Strong organizational skills and territory management capabilities.

• Mechanical aptitude with the ability to understand and explain product applications and technical concepts.

• Effective problem-solving abilities.

• Self-driven and capable of working independently with minimal supervision.

• Willingness to travel extensively within the designated territory.
