This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +5 more states.
• Serve as Corteva's representative with distribution accounts to promote products and services, fulfill customer requirements and financial goals, tap into new markets and technologies, and offer leadership and guidance.
• Collaborate with National Account Managers, District Leaders, and Marketing Teams to align Account Plans and activities with local and regional strategies.
• Oversee company relationships with pivotal accounts.
• Cultivate and sustain relationships with key decision-makers and major divisions within national distribution accounts.
• Foster connections between Corteva and distribution accounts across various organizational levels.
• Spearhead the creation and execution of Account Plans in partnership with National Account Managers and Commercial Units.
• Establish and present quarterly and annual purchasing targets and sales objectives that align with Corteva's financial goals.
• Ensure swift adoption of new technologies by accounts.
• Facilitate the collaborative development and execution of commercial programs across different Commercial Units.
• Track and manage revenue, gross margin, investment, and market share targets.
• Stay updated on Corteva's portfolio strategies, industry trends, and innovations in sales management.
• Work in tandem with cross-functional teams in Sales, Marketing, Commercial Unit, Area, and Districts.
• Generate cross-platform opportunities for Crop Protection, Seeds, and Range/Pasture with accounts.
• Travel as required to support business operations.
• Bachelor’s degree in Agronomy (or equivalent), Marketing, Business, or any related field with proven knowledge of agricultural markets.
• At least 8 years of marketing and/or sales experience, demonstrating proficiency in consultative selling and negotiation is preferred.
• Proven ability to engage with CEOs, COOs, and CFOs of accounts.
• Extensive geographic and cross-functional experience is considered a competitive advantage.
• Willingness to travel frequently, ideally located near an airport for convenience in reaching account locations.
• Strong leadership skills in managing people.
• Equivalent relevant experience may be taken into account in place of the stated requirements.
