This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Take charge of acquiring and closing new business within designated geographic territories and/or states.
• Engage with C-level executives, VPs, and field-based personnel, tailoring strategies to cater to each persona.
• Collaborate with sales leadership and support teams on acquisition strategies and pipeline management.
• Appropriately implement the “zippered” sales technique.
• Actively prospect and strategically follow up with potential new clients.
• Cultivate relationships with prospective customers through phone calls, emails, trade shows, industry events, and conferences.
• Develop and implement a targeted outreach micro-strategy for each prospective customer.
• Organize and monitor the cadence of prospect touchpoints.
• Lead both in-person and virtual product demonstrations.
• Prepare proposals, quotes, and contracts in accordance with company protocols.
• Negotiate contracts and finalize deals.
• Create outbound email communications in CRM software and evaluate their effectiveness.
• Achieve revenue growth that meets or exceeds quarterly targets and forecasts.
• Utilize cross-functional internal resources to secure business.
• Clearly articulate Tenna’s product value to potential clients.
• Travel frequently to prospect, network, sell, and engage with prospective customers on-site.
• Stay informed on industry trends and market shifts via associations, webinars, and events.
• Must reside in Indiana or be willing to relocate to the state.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in selling enterprise software to the construction or related sectors.
• Proven track record of success in Enterprise SaaS sales.
• At least 7 years of experience managing all facets of the sales cycle, including developing prospect relationships, negotiating contracts, and closing sales.
• Over 7 years of experience conducting targeted research and inquiries to qualify and convert sales leads.
• Extensive experience engaging with and presenting to C-level executives, VPs, and field-based staff.
• Strong background in quota-carrying roles, consistently achieving revenue growth that meets or surpasses quarterly business objectives.
• Significant experience traveling for prospecting, networking, and selling, up to 70% of the time.
• A Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, or another business-related field is highly preferred.
• Proficiency in Salesforce and HubSpot is strongly preferred.
• Experience leading virtual and in-person product demonstrations using platforms like WebEx, Zoom, or similar tools.
• Exceptional verbal communication skills, especially in negotiations, public speaking, and presentations.
• A solid understanding of prospective customers’ needs within a complex buying organization.
• Strong negotiation capabilities.
• Ability to work under deadlines and pay attention to detail.
